Nathanya G. Simon
Nathanya Guritzky Simon, Member of the Firm, plays a major role in the Firm’s school board representation in all legal, special education and labor issues throughout New Jersey, regularly appearing before the Office of Administrative Law, Public Employment Relations Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other agencies, state and federal courts. In 2003, she was selected by New Jersey Law Journal as a prominent leader among the state’s women and minority attorneys.

Relevant Experience
In educational litigation and special education matters, Ms. Simon represents clients at administrative proceedings, mediation, and in the state and federal courts. She acts as a legal consultant during collective negotiations, arbitration proceedings and in a myriad of other areas such as policy analysis and revisions, legal compliance investigations and Section 504 programs. Ms. Simon also represents numerous clients in commercial and civil rights litigation, special education issues and insurance defense.
A noted lecturer and author, she is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences, workshops and seminars.
Prior to private practice, she was Associate Counsel for the New Jersey School Boards Association, where she served the collective interests of boards of education throughout New Jersey in both legal and labor matters. She also served as a member of the Prosecution Bureau, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the State of New Jersey.
